This is a co-operative game for 1-6 players where you decide who is going where to achieve your goals, this might be a fight or trying to uncover a dastardly plot. If you don’t work together you will fail together.
One of the fun aspects of the game is the Bond Cards, which tells you what the relationships are between your characters, whether that is positive or negative. Anyone who has read the graphic novels (comic books) will know how much their feelings can change or adapt, after all these are meant to be mostly young adults with all the heightened explosive reactions that their feelings can have on the relationships with your team.
There is a lot of choice as to which of the amazing heroes you can play,
Wolverine, X23, Armor, Beast, Colossus, Cyclops, Forge, Gambit, Iceman, Jubilee, Magic, Rogue, Shadowcat, Storm, and Phoenix. You can also get help from the students who aren’t quite ready to be a full X-Men yet like Cannonball, Magma and the one and only Dazzler.
There are eight different scenarios to play each of which leads to a full on showdown against villains such as Magneto, Dark Phoenix or the Hellfire Club. Each with their own challenges for you to overcome. There are a range of difficulty settings to help you first of all settle in to the game and then on up. Each scenario has its own missions and you build up your powers as you advance through the story and your team increases in strength.
This is a very fun game with so much action and plenty of thrills. you get to travel all around the world while uncovering and foiling plots and fighting the usual group of well loved enemies.
