Being a big fan of all the 7 wonders games and also a big fan of the Lord of the Rings Books, I came at this game with a certain amount of trepidation, wondering if this was going to be a thin skin over 7 Wonders Duel. Well It isn’t! |
It has enough of the feel of 7 wonders Duel that you soon know what you are doing and yet has a feel and look that is completely Lord of the Rings. There are several elements like the battle map which is completely the correct feel and the ability to chase down your enemy which again is so Lord of the Rings.
I played this game with a friend and although he beat me at the game we did both have fun, aInd were both surprised at how well this game stands on it’s own merrit.
