It is a time of immense construction and urbanization in the early 1800s. You are a world-renowned master city planner who has been asked to redesign two different cities. There is a need for more than one person with the expertise with projects of such significance, so for each assignment you are going to be paired with a partner who you will discuss and execute your magnificent plans. Will your planning and collaborative skills be enough to design the most impressive city in the entire world?
Between Two Cities is a partnership driven tile drafting game where by each tile represents part of a city, park, landmarks, shop, factory etc. You will be working with the player to your left hand side to design the heart of one city. You’ll also be working with the player on your right to design the heart of another city. On each turn you will select two tiles from hand, reveal them and then with your partners separately to place on of those tiles into each of your two cities before passing the remainder of the hand of tiles around the table.
Each city is scored for its liveability at the end of the game. Your final score will be the lower of the liveability scores of the two cities which you helped to design. In order to win you have to share your attention and your devotion between the two cities. The player with the highest final score wins the game.
The game can be played for between 3-7 peoples and can be played within an average time of 20-25 minutes. Available Here
